Understanding Gypframe The naming of Gypframe profiles follows a relatively simple nomenclature where the first 2 or 3 digits of code refer to the component width, the letters refer to the component type and the last 2 digits indicate the gauge or metal thickness in mm. Several examples are listed in the table below. Other components also follow a simple 2 or 3 letter code with a further 1 or 2 digits to further identify the product. Examples would be RB1 – Resilient Bar 1, GA3 – Gypframe Angle 3, GFS1 – Gypframe Fixing Strap 1 and so on. Further information including descriptions, weights and dimensions are below.
